• Big advantage that our Viking crew usually note. Mid size Viking ships can dock in any port. Guest and crew can enjoy European, Asian, Australian, African, American and even Antarctic destinations! • The company focuses on American passengers with high income that love to travel & explore, thus excursions are very diverse. Ships stay in port longer and there are also may be overnight stays in some ports.

• Since Viking ships are relatively small accommodating max 930 guests, crew have less work and stress. • Working at Viking you will not see any loud knocks on the counter, no shouting, no unnecessary fuss. There are no casinos, children, photographers or animators on board.

Viking organizes a large number of events for crew and staff, thus 1–2 times a week you may have: • SPA day • Movie night • Crew party with complimentary wine & cheese • Passenger’s gym is available for crew after 8pm • Passenger’s tours can be attended by crew members while off duty • Sporting events, bicycles in the ports, etc.

Most cruise companies have internet packages for crew at the discounted rates. Working at Viking you will not spend additional money for WI-FI on board, because it’s free for all crew members. Note that satellite internet on board is limited speed, so you can use messenger, surf through social media, but can hardly watch Netflix.
